They will not be as elaborate or refined as commercial products, but they will be pure and they will contain no preservatives, artificial colorings, fragrances, or any other unnecessary ingredients. Best of all, they will work. It may seem like a little more trouble at first; some of the products have to be made just before each application. However, when you see the condition of your skin improve, you will probably decide that it is well worth any extra effort.

NORMAL SKIN

Normal skin is neither too dry nor too oily; it is the ideal skin type. It is moist and clear, with a smooth texture and even color. Normal skin appears soft and is firm to the touch. Pores may be perceptible but are not large.

Essential oils that are helpful for normal skin include cedarwood, clary sage, elemi, frankincense, geranium, jasmine, lavender, neroli, palmarosa, patchouli, rose, rosemary, rosewood, sandalwood, and vetiver.

Honey and Clay Cleanser for Normal Skin

1 teaspoon French green clay powder

1 teaspoon honey

1 drop lavender oil

1 drop rosemary oil

Blend all the ingredients into a paste in your palm. Massage the paste into your skin until it feels clean. Rinse with warm water.

.

Normal Skin Toner

8 ounces distilled water

2 drops lavender oil 1 drop palmarosa oil 1 drop rosewood oil

Pour the distilled water into a clean bottle and add the essential oils. Shake to blend. Apply the toner to your skin with a cotton ball after cleansing. Shake well before each use.

.

Facial Oil for Normal or Sensitive Skin

1 ounce jojoba oil

3 drops neroli oil

2 drops rose oil

2 drops sandalwood oil

Place the jojoba oil in a clean container and add the essential oils. Gently turn the container upside down several times or roll it between your hands for a few minutes to blend. Apply several drops to your face twice daily, after cleansing and toning.

.

Facial Mask for Normal or Oily Skin

1 teaspoon French green clay powder

1 teaspoon honey

1 drop palmarosa oil

1 drop rosewood oil

1 teaspoon enzyme powder (optional)

In the palm of your hand, combine the essential oils with the green clay and honey (and the enzyme powder, if desired) and blend well. Apply the mixture to clean facial skin and relax for fifteen minutes. Rinse well. Use this mask once a week.

Mature skin is skin that has begun to show signs of aging, such as lines and wrinkles. Combination skin has both dry and oily areas. Usually, the area known as the T-zone–the forehead, nose, and chinis oily, while the cheeks and throat are dry. Combination skin may require a two-part approach to skin care in which you treat each area with products designed for that skin type.

Sensitive skin can be either dry or oily. It is usually very fragile and delicate and requires special treatment. Many cosmetics are too harsh for sensitive skin and will often irritate it, causing blemishes, broken capillaries, chapping or cracking, irritation, or rashes. If you have sensitive skin, you should be extremely careful about skin care and the products you use.

As you get older, your skin changes. As skin matures, it becomes thinner and more fragile, more susceptible to broken capillaries, bruising, and other injuries. Discolorations or variations in pigment may appear. However, much of what people accept as normal or inevitable signs of aging is actually premature aging. Lines and wrinkles and dry or sagging skin are the first signs of premature aging. All skin will develop lines and wrinkles eventually, but if your skin is well cared for and supported by a healthy lifestyle, it should look relatively line-free until you are in your late thirties or early forties, or even longer.

Lines and wrinkles may also result from years of repeating the same facial expressions, such as snilling, frowning, pouting, pursing your lips, raising your eyebrows, and squinting. These repeated expressions eventually etch their marks into your skin. Gravity also has an effect. The development of lines and wrinkles can be greatly accelerated by the consumption of alcohol; exposure to cigarette smoke (especially through smoking, but also from secondhand smoke) and other environmental pollutants; chronic constipation, dehydration, or illness; the use of certain drugs; harsh cosmetics; hormone imbalances; bad dental work; lack of good skin care; poor circulation; poor diet; nutritional deficiencies; poor posture; a sedentary lifestyle; stress; and overexposure to the sun. Heredity and coloring also are factors. Fair skin and dry complexions usually age sooner than dark skin and oily complexions.

Any kind of skin can be helped by a good skin care regimen. Whether you are treating a problem skin or want to maintain healthy, normal skin, you should drink eight to twelve glasses of pure, clean water every day, and eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables to get the nutrients your skin needs. Avoid unprotected exposure to the sunuse a sunscreen daily and wear protective clothing, hats, and sunglasses. Choose skin care products that are suited to your skin type.

Caused by trauma of some kind, the injury ruptures the capillaries (small blood vessels) causing bleeding under the skin. This, in turn, leads to the characteristic black-and-blue appearance of bruises. In addition to the characteristic discoloration, a black eyecan cause pain and swelling in the affected area. Some people bruise for no obvious reason. This is usually a sign of capillary fragility, that is, the capillary walls are weak and easily rupture. This can occur for a number of reasons, including aging, diabetes, alcoholism, and nutritional deficiencies.

CAPILLARY TEA

2 teaspoons dried black currant leaves

2 tablespoons raspberry leaves

1 tablespoon white oak bark

2 cups water

Combine the above herbs in a pan and cover with the water. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes; cool; strain. Take up to two cups a day. This tea will help strengthen the capillaries.

Place the witch hazel in a pan and cover with the water; bring to a boil; boil for several minutes; cover; cool and strain. To the resulting liquid, add the dried hyssop and soak for 8 hours; strain. Use this solution topically, as needed.

To solve this problem there are various treatments, both natural cosmetics, which achieve excellent results. Both men and women have bags under his eyes, and try as you can eliminate them, so this will be known more useful advice.

Why are dark circles?
The dark circles have various origins. In most cases, are caused by veins under the skin around the eyes. This skin is extremely delicate, is much thinner than the rest of the body, so the veins are visible. As the years pass this skin is damaged and becomes even thinner and weaker. This causes the veins and capillaries become more visible. The situation may worsen if the veins become congested from allergies or illnesses such as asthma. Another condition that causes dark circles is the pigmentation of the skin.

Many people, both women and men, suffer from dark circles even when they are disclosed or depleted. In several cases, genes or their own habits make people look tired, his eyes dull. So in order to treat dark circles is important to understand what causes them. Fatigue, smoking, hormonal changes, allergies and genetic problems are some of the factors causing dark circles.

For their stay, they can be divided into transient or provoked. The latter are caused by fatigue, poor sleep, emotional or physical stress, including malnutrition. Dark circles occur in every person of a different color, depending on skin type. In those with dark skin, who have been exposed to too much sun or hormonal changes that manifest, dark circles tend to be brown. In people with skin matte dark circles appear greenish and whitest skins are manifested with a purplish hue.

How to solvedark eye circles problem
Above all it is desirable to avoid dark under eye circles, a healthy diet, sleep well (doctors recommend an average of 7 or 8 hours of sleep for adults), avoid salty foods, use sunscreen, drink plenty of water, not smoking, or drinking alcohol or caffeine.

It’s good to know there are many common solutions to treat dark circles. these can be lessened by treatment or conceal with makeup. As cosmetic care, should use both morning and evening, a moisturizer specifically for the eye area. This will help decongest the area and care. Also, a good solution is to use concealers. To implement them properly begins by thoroughly cleaning the skin with a moisturizer. Then, place the spell by gentle tapping, without stretching the skin, and blend with a sponge in the direction from outside to inside. This product can be used alone or above and below the foundation, but always taking care that blends with your complexion.

According to specialists in cosmetology, white-skinned women should wear a light shade concealer. For those with fair skin and black hair are advised to use a natural color or beige. At brunettes and pink face, does well to use the range of roses. The dark-skinned should use a golden beige and very dark, a natural bronze.

More home treatments
Another home treatment is the use of cold tea bags on eyes to reduce dark circles (if they are caused by allergies obviously this step does not work). Chamomile is one of the most effective natural anti-inflammation. A cup of tea in this product may help after a long night or even after mourn. Chamomile can also be used on pads, two swabs dipped iced tea and putting them in the eyes of ten or fifteen minutes. Almost all cosmetics manufacturers have special products for dark circles and, in general, some of these use natural ingredients include chamomile, calendula and arnica.

In fact dark circles can actually make you look a lot older tan you actually are. They make you look tired, ill, and older, sowhat are the ways of getting rid of them? In order to permanently get rid of dark circles under the eye, the treatments must also be accompanied by good health practices. While there are natural remedies, creams and even medical procedures than can help minimize their appearance, dark circles underneath the eyes can often be avoided by addressing any underlying issues that may be causing them. For most people, this is as easy as treating a cold or a lingering sinus problems as both of these can cause dark circles under the eyes.

Dark circles under the eyes are a common, unattractive and very annoying problem that affects millions of people. Despite what a lot people think, these dark circles, wrinkles and bags under the eyes are not a result of being tired or stressed. Instead most experts in the dermatology field believe that they are caused by blood vessels which are visible through the thin skin that is found beneath the eyes. The capillaries leak blood close to the skin surface.

The blood will oxidize and turn a bluish, red color. Because the skin under the eyes is very thin dark circles will appear. The lighter the skin and the growing leakage of blood will result in darker circles. The discoloration over time can become a permanent blemish.

Dark circles can be hereditary. Skin color and the thickness of skin are inherited traits and so there is no cure in these instances. However where dark circles are not hereditary they can be due to other factors.

A balanced diet is very important in order to keep your skin in good order. The lack of any of the essential nutrients in your diet may lead to a number of health problems. A lack of iron in the diet will cause a blue color to appear beneath the eyes and since the lack of iron is closely related to anemia, it is often assumed that anemia is the cause of dark circles under the eyes. Dark circles may also become prominent during menstruation and pregnancy due to iron deficiency. As the skin becomes paler, the veins become more visible. This will lead to discoloration around the eyes.

Aging skin will result in dark circles under the eyes. Collagen, which is the part of the skin that tightens the skin cells, gets damaged with aging. As a result of this skin becomes thinner and more transparent, making the blood vessels more prominent and visible from the outside. This is permanent and irreversible damage Allergies and infections have their part to play in the appearance of dark circles under the eyes. Whether from dander, pollen or foods, allergic reactions will cause the bodys immune system to go into overdrive. The blood vessels will expand and become more noticeable.

Eye infections may lead to dark circles. Itchy and watery eyes due to bacterial infection often results in darker eyes. But, such dark circles often disappear once the infection has been cured.

When the body does not receive enough rest, combined with fatigue and overstrain, the skin will become drawn and pale. This will result in the dark circles becoming more obvious.

Simple skin care involves seven basic steps. You need to do some procedures, such as cleansing, toning, and moisturizing, twice a day. Othersscrubbing, steaming, and applying masksyou can do about once a week. Misting can be done as often as you like. A skin care routine may seem like extra work initially, especially if you haven’t been caring for your skin. But once you become adjusted to your new program, it will feel as normal as brushing your teeth or taking a shower.

1. Cleansing. Cleansing removes dirt and impurities from the surface of the skin. Cleansing is increasingly important for maintaining good skin today, as the level of environmental pollutants rises. Cleanse your skin once in the morning, to remove wastes your skin generates during sleep, and again at night, to remove bacteria, oils, makeup, dirt, and any other residues that collect on your face during the day. Use a cleanser formulated for your skin type. Dry skin cleansers moisturize as they clean skin; oily skin cleansers remove excess oil as they cleanse.

2. Scrubbing. A facial scrub gently exfoliates (sloughs off) dead skin cells that can contribute to blackheads, blemishes, dryness, and wrinkles. It also boosts circulation to your face and gives your complexion a healthy glow. Scrubs can be made from almond meal, cornmeal, hazelnut meal, jojoba beads, jojoba meal, or any other grain that gently removes dead skin cells. Avoid abrasive scrubs that can scratch or irritate your skin. One to three times a week, gently massage the scrub into your skin after cleansing. Scrubs are appropriate for all skins except sensitive skin or skin with broken capillaries. If you have either of those conditions, you should avoid using scrubs.

3. Toning. A toner removes residues left on your skin by your cleanser, mask, scrub, or tap water. A toner leaves your face moist, allowing for better absorption of your moisturizer or facial oil. After cleansing, scrubbing, or removing a mask, moisten a cotton ball with toner and glide it over your face and neck. Repeat this procedure until no traces of dirt remain. Men can splash their faces with toner or after-shave after cleansing or shaving. Gentle toners are made with floral or herbal waters. Avoid toners or astringents that contain alcohol, which can dry and irritate your skin.

4. Moisturizing. Moisturizers or facial oils create a protective barrier between your skin and the atmosphere, bacteria, makeup, and smog. They plump up your surface skin cells, prevent moisture loss, and give your skin a smooth, soft appearance. 1. Every skin, even oily skin, needs a moisturizer or facial oil to protect it. Select one formulated for your skin type. Apply a small amount of moisturizer or several drops of facial oil to your face after cleansing and toning. If your skin is dry, you may wish to apply moisturizer or facial oil at other times, too, especially after misting.

5. Misting. A facial mist replenishes the moisture that your skin constantly loses to the atmosphere, especially with air conditioning and heating and in dry climates. Facial mists usually contain herbal or floral waters. Avoid products that contain synthetic ingredients and alcohol. Spray your face as often as you like.

6. Steaming. Facial steaming once a week will deep cleanse your pores, moisturize your skin, and improve circulation to your face. To steam your face, add three to five drops of an essential oil or oils appropriate for your skin type to a glass bowl containing one quart of steaming water. Capture the steam by draping a towel over your head to create a “tent” and hold your face over the bowl for five to ten minutes. Follow with a scrub or facial mask.

7. Masks. A facial mask can nourish your skin, replenish moisture, normalize oil secretions, and invigorate your complexion. Once a week, apply a mask for your skin type and relax for ten to fifteen minutes. Both the mask and the relaxation will improve the condition of your skin. Rinse off with warm water. Apply toner and facial oil.

OILY SKIN

1 teaspoon French green clay powder
1 drop ylang ylang oil
2 drops geranium oil
2 drops ylang ylang oil
1 drop lemon oil

Facial Oil for Oily Skin
1 ounce jojoba oil
3 drops ylang ylang oil
2 drops lemon oil
2 drops rosewood oil 1 drop clary sage oil 1 drop geranium oil
Place the jojoba oil in a clean container and add the essential oils. Gently turn the container upside down several times or roll it between your hands for a few minutes to blend. Apply one or two drops of oil to your face twice daily after cleansing and toning.

CHAPPED OR CRACKED SKIN

Skin that is chapped or cracked is extremely dry and dehydrated. It may lack both oil and moisture. Skin conditions such as dermatitis; exposure to cold, sun, wind, or harsh chemicals or cosmetics; and dietary factors such as an insufficient intake of oil, essential fatty acids, water, or certain nutrients (especially vitamin A) can all cause chapped or cracked skin.

If your skin has chapped or cracked areas, make sure you are getting enough water and that your diet contains a sufficient quantity of cold-pressed vegetable oil, about one tablespoon a day for most people. Consult a nutritionist if you suspect a nutritional deficiency. Protect yourself from the weather, the sun, harsh chemicals, and detergents.

Essential oils that can soothe and help heal chapped and cracked skin are benzoin, bergamot, frankincense, and myrrh. Apply Chapped Skin Oil to the affected areas at least twice daily.

Chapped Skin Oil

1 ounce jojoba oil
4 drops benzoin resin
3 drops frankincense oil 3 drops myrrh oil
2 drops bergamot oil
In a clean container, add the essential oils to the jojoba oil and blend. Apply the oil to chapped areas as necessary.
Note: Bergamot oil increases sensitivity to the sun. Omit it from the formula if your skin will be exposed to sunlight.
